Elliot's CareerElliot Levey says that he got into acting by chance. He gives credit to an English teacher who asked him to read something dramatic in class, and saw talent in him. Now he says it's too late for him to do anything else! He studied philosophy at Oxford University, and has never had any formal training as an actor. He's been in a slew of film, theatre and television productions and has played a wide range of roles. From parts in Shakespeare's The Tempest, Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors, to playing the apostle Nathaniel in the film Gospel of John, to a role in the television drama series Doctors, Elliot is truly versatile. In Beasts and Beauties, he has made his mark as the Tony Blair-like prime minister in 'The Emperor's New Clothes' and the undomesticated lead in the 'The Husband'. | | |
