Vineeta's CareerVineeta Rishi decided to pursue acting at a later stage than most actors. Although she had done some acting at school and enjoyed it, she did a business management degree at university and went on to become a computer programmer. She continued to pursue her interest in acting as an amateur, but soon decided that it was something that she wanted to do as a career. She got an agent and started to get work, but felt that she wanted formal training. She did a post-graduate degree at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London and has completed a lot of theatre and some television roles since then. In Beasts and Beauties, Vineeta had a variety of roles to play, such as the leading role of Kari in 'The Girl and the North Wind', the animator of the bird in 'The Juniper Tree', and a weaver in 'The Emperor's New Clothes'. After Beasts and Beauties, she appeared in Silver Street, the nation's first Asian radio soap on the BBC Asian Network. | | |
