Steve's career

Although Steve has had a number of jobs, they all relate in some way to Education and the Arts. He trained as a primary school teacher and taught in England and Spain for four years. He then trained as an actor and worked in educational theatre as an actor/teacher and a director. He has been a producer for BBC Education and was Head of Arts for Birmingham City Council before taking up his current role as Education Director at The Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 2003.
