Patricia's Career Patricia Hodge trained at the London School of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and has since had a very successful career as a stage and television actor. Her face is instantly recognisable and she has played some of the most challenging parts in dramatic literature, working with Britain’s leading directors including Peter Hall and Nicholas Hytner. Patricia Hodge has succeeded in making the transition from playing young (and beautiful) women to creating mature (and still beautiful) but possibly more interesting and complex characters like Mrs Coulter in His Dark Materials. Patricia has worked in theatres throughout the UK, but most people will know of her work through the many hugely successful television dramas that she has starred in, including seven series of Rumpole of the Bailey , Inspector Morse , Edward and Mrs Simpson and The Life and Loves of a She Devil . | | |
