Warming up

Walk in the space freely – looking at what and who is in the room. Choose a person you don’t know and make eye contact – keep moving but keep the contact going all the time.

Keep moving freely but when you hear “change” you change direction. (Leader calls “change” loudly at first, then softer and quieter to make the group focus and listen).

Link hands and make a snake, moving in, around and under itself until a knot is tied. Now undo it without breaking the chain.

Get into pairs: A helps B to have minimal contact with the ground.

Change Partners

A works with B to occupy as much space as possible while remaining physically in touch…then occupies as little space as possible…

Change Partners

B works with A to make a creature that moves and has a voice. Make a creature in groups of 4. Have the creatures meet and greet.
